This is the 10th in a series of UKAI Brooklyn workshops held regularly at Market Lagoice, a produce store that aims to promote a zero-waste lifestyle.
This time, we made a vegan, gluten-free Lemon Poppyseeds Cake!
We used lemons from Ponopono Farm, an orchard on Kakaroma Island, which are sweet and delicious right down to the peel.
These lemons are grown naturally without fertilizers and pesticides. They are delicious to eat, but unfortunately cannot be sold in stores because of their appearance.
We are very happy to share with you how delicious lemons are! We are happy to be able to share this excitement with you ✨.Both the morning and afternoon workshops were filled with smiles.
